ALPHA – a safe place to ask …
Begins: Monday, September 13, 2010 @ Mt Soledad
Alpha is a free and fun way to get connected to God and others through a series of talks and small group conversations. There's also a great dinner to kick off each evening. Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and the evening concludes by 8:15 p.m. Childcare is available upon request.
What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment. The Alpha course runs ten weeks and consists of a series of talks, looking at topics including 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?' We meet for dinner and each talk is followed by discussion in small groups. No question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile. For a list of topics, click here.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone – those wanting to investigate Christianity, new followers of Jesus, newcomers to Mt Soledad, those who want to brush up on the basics of Christian faith; anyone desiring to connect to other people and to God. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. Click here, www.alphausa.org to learn why millions of people worldwide have experienced the Alpha course.
